Work opportunities
Viva speech pathology hires speech pathology contractors to provide evidenced based and family centred intervention at our Joondalup and Tuart Hill clinic as well as primary schools.
Contractors need:
-a Working with children check,
-Speech Pathology Australia membership
-an Australian Business Number.
-Professional indemnity insurance a
-a business bank account
-super account.
Contractors are responsible for their own work as a business owner under Viva speech pathology's banner. They are able to organise their own work using existing business development tools supplied by the practice. A wide variety of resources are available at the practice but they are encouraged to purchase resources in their clinical areas of interest. They can manage their own time and use the part-time receptionist to organise and build their caseload. Viva speech pathology provides family working hours for parents who have responsibilities such as school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Incentives are offered by the practice owner for bringing work into the practice via the contractors own efforts and professional networking.
